Porto Photo Diary

portoview

Dice el refrán que «Lisboa se divierte, Coimbra canta, Braga reza y Oporto trabaja». Las tres primeras ciudades (aún) no las conozco, pero si Oporto trabaja lo hace sin prisa y con alguna pausa. Girona in One Day

Girona

Any journey to the Costa Brava is incomplete without visiting Girona, a beautiful medieval city with a genuine Catalan flavour that will surprise you with its many historical sites, charming cobbled streets and big art scene. Also known as the Immortal City for having survived three consecutive sieges in the 19th century, the city’s main events are Sant Narcís Festivities in October and the huge flower exhibition that takes place every May, called Girona, Temps de Flors, although any time of the year is good to discover its lovely old quarter. Last but not least, foodies will be happy to know that the second best restaurant in the world in 2014, El Celler de Can Roca, is in Girona ;)
