On our way to Taupo, we stopped at Huka Falls to take some pictures, since it is the most visited natural attraction in New Zealand. As you can see below, the view is stunning.
On our first day of the bus tour we went to Hot Water Beach (if you dig a hole in the sand at high tide the water comes up at 65ºC, so a little bit too hot even for a jacuzzi…). I was there at sunset and it was amazing! On the same day in the afternoon we went for a swim at a “normal” beach and after that we went kayaking, I really enjoyed it!
I’m writing from Hong Kong International Airport, in a couple of hours I’m taking another 10-hour flight, this time to Auckland, New Zealand. I have to say that the first flight, London-Hong Kong, was more pleasant than I thought: although I couldn’t sleep much, I listened to music and I watched The Hangover Part II, which I totally recommend, it’s hilarious! When the Korean woman sitting next to me saw me laughing all the time, she started watching it too
